The 42-year-old, who has four-year-old Archie and daughter Lilibet, two, with her husband Prince Harry<\/a>, 39, said the youngster included it in his Christmas wish-list during a question-and-answer session after a screening of Netflix\u2019s short film \u2018The After\u2019. <\/p>\n

She said about how her boy was inspired by Misan Harriman, 46, a renowned photographer who has taken some of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex\u2019s family snaps: \u201cThe inspiration runs deep. Our four-year-old \u2013 (our) four-and-a-half-year-old son \u2013 he would say, \u2018No, I\u2019m not four. I\u2019m \u2013and-a-half. <\/p>\n

\u201cMisan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera, and he said, \u2018But it\u2019s not a Leica like Misan.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The camera he was referring to is handcrafted and costs thousands of dollars. <\/p>\n

\nMeghan added: \u201cI said, \u2018You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

\nMeghan\u2019s chat took place on 15 November at her mansion in Montecito, California. <\/p>\n

\nIronically, Harry revealed in his 2021 docuseries \u2018The Me You Can\u2019t See\u2019 he is still triggered by the sounds of camera clicks as his mother while referring to how his late mum Princess Diana was tracked by the paparazzi in the final years of her life. <\/p>\n

\nHe said: \u201cThe clicking of cameras, and the flash of cameras makes my blood boil. It makes me angry. It takes me back to what happened to my mum, what I experienced as a kid.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nOne gift Archie has already received is a waffle maker from his late great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, who died in September 2022 aged 96. <\/p>\n

\nDuring a 2021 appearance on \u2018The Late Late Show\u2019 Harry said about the present: \u201cMy grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cShe sent us a waffle maker for Archie. So breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix\u2026 (Archie) loves it. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cArchie wakes up in the morning and literally just goes, \u2018Waffle?’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
