\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n While filming Barbie<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, Ryan Gosling<\/strong><\/a> pitched a wild fight scene to director Greta Gerwig<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n Barbie<\/em> has taken the film industry by storm in 2023, having grossed over $1 billion worldwide<\/a> since its release in July.<\/p>\n Many of the film\u2019s deleted scenes have recently come to light, and one of them involves Ryan<\/strong>\u2018s character Ken squaring up with his coat!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While promoting Barbie<\/em>\u2018s streaming release on Max, Greta<\/strong> appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a><\/em> to discuss Ryan<\/strong>\u2018s pitch of a scene in which Ken fights with his white mink coat during his \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken\u201d musical number. <\/p>\n \u201cOne of the ideas that Ryan had was that he would have a dance duet with his mink [coat],\u201d Greta<\/strong> said. \u201cThe mink would be fighting him and then love him and then fight him and then eventually defeat him and then he would be birthed anew out of the mink.\u201d<\/p>\n The filmmaker then revealed that the sequence was actually filmed!<\/p>\n \u201cSomewhere there is rehearsal footage of this,\u201d she stated. \u201cIt\u2019s in the vault. Even though it didn\u2019t end up being in the movie, it was that kind of openness and everybody bringing these wild, brilliant ideas that allowed [the movie] to happen in its form.
