The Golden Bachelor<\/a>\u2019s<\/em> inaugural season was such a hit that producers are already talking about potential spinoffs for some of the franchise\u2019s other shows like The Bachelorette<\/em> and Bachelor in Paradise<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m here for Golden Paradise,\u201d Bachelor producer Claire Freeland<\/strong> said during a Producers Guild FYC panel on Monday, December 11.<\/p>\n Fellow executive producer and showrunner Bennett Graebner<\/strong> added, \u201cWe\u2019re ready for it.\u201d<\/p>\n Bennett also teased a potential Golden Bachelorette<\/em>, \u201cNothing would make us happier \u2026 stay tuned.\u201d<\/p>\n Several people in the audience shouted out their suggestions for possible Golden Bachelorette leads, with many hoping to see Golden Bachelor<\/em> runner-up Leslie Fhima<\/strong>, along with some other standouts from the season like Faith Martin<\/strong>, Ellen Goltzer<\/strong>, Joan Vassos<\/strong> and Sandra Masson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Golden Bachelor<\/em> premiered in September and the cast quickly won the hearts of viewers.<\/p>\n \u201cNormalize dating at any age, being desirable at any age, still having urges and being a sexual creature at any age,\u201d Claire admitted during the panel. \u201c[It] is something I think that we should be listening to and why it\u2019s a big part of why it\u2019s so successful and people are really responding to it.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that she hoped to see \u201cmore people of this age in mainstream media.\u201d<\/p>\n An insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style<\/em><\/a> on December 7 that the reality dating show would return for a second season with a new Bachelor and claimed that the series put the Bachelor<\/em> franchise \u201cback on the map.\u201d<\/p>\n However, \u200bseason 1 winner Theresa Nist<\/strong>\u2019s hairstylist told The U.S. Sun<\/em><\/a> that producers had a different idea in mind.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was talk about maybe having another bachelor with the same [group of] women,\u201d the woman claimed Theresa told her.<\/p>\n She went on to say that the women from Gerry Turner<\/strong>\u2019s season developed \u201csuch great fan bases\u201d that producers were toying with the idea of bringing them back for another chance at love.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if that\u2019s going to happen or anything, but that\u2019s how popular they all became,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n However, as popular as Gerry\u2019s season of The Golden Bachelor<\/em> was, it didn\u2019t come without a few bumps in the road. The day before the finale, which aired on November 30, a woman claiming to be Gerry\u2019s ex-girlfriend dropped several bombshells<\/a> regarding the retired restaurateur\u2019s past.<\/p>\n The woman, who was only identified as Carolyn, said that Gerry, 72, reached out just a month after his wife, Toni, died unexpectedly in 2017. This statement contradicted Gerry\u2019s story about how he hadn\u2019t dated anyone since his wife\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
