Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a> seemingly called out ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake<\/strong><\/a> and revealed a surprising detail about their past relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cOH I\u2019M SHOOK!!! Psss \u2026 I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball \ud83c\udfc0 and he would cry \u2026 no disrespect \ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffc\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffc\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffc\u200d\u2640\ufe0f!!!\u201d Spears, 42, captioned a video via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, December 15.<\/p>\n

While Spears didn\u2019t mention Timberlake, 42, by name, the phrase, \u201cno disrespect,\u201d seems to be in reference to J.T.\u2019s performance in Las Vegas<\/a> on Wednesday, December 13. Timberlake said the same words before performing \u201cCry Me a River,\u201d a song he allegedly wrote after he ended his three-year relationship with Spears in 2002. While the lyrics allude to infidelity, the song\u2019s music video also famously features a blonde actress who looks eerily like Spears.<\/p>\n

The pop icons\u2019 past romance came back into the spotlight after the release of Spears\u2019 memoir, The Woman in Me<\/em><\/a>. She detailed quite a bit about their ups and downs in the book, including claiming that she and Timberlake both cheated on each other. However, she felt like Timberlake got the upper hand publicly with the speedy release of \u201cCry Me a River\u201d after their split.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt there was no way at the time to tell my side of the story,\u201d Spears wrote of the song. \u201cI couldn\u2019t explain, because I knew no one would take my side once Justin had convinced the world of his version. I don\u2019t think Justin realized the power he had in shaming me. I don\u2019t think he understands to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spears said she was \u201cdevastated\u201d by the breakup, and she thought the public looked at her as the \u201charlot who\u2019d broken the heart of America\u2019s golden boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Timberlake previously addressed the release of \u201cCry Me a River\u201d in his 2018 book, Hindsight<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Timberlake has remained hush-hush<\/a> since the release of The Woman In Me<\/em>, but a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that he was \u201cdisappointed<\/a>\u201d with the amount of intimate details Spears spilled.<\/p>\n
