Devin shared that her mom helped plan things, including a \u201cclean, fresh, and minimal\u201d aesthetic with soft pink and blue.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted to choose a more modern venue,\u201d Devin explained. \u201cA lot of venues in Arkansas are barn-like. This one felt more contemporary, which we liked.\u201d<\/p>\nNick offered Devin a ring for their formal engagement. She then praised: \u201cI also love the modesty of hanbok dresses.\u201d As we know, some of the backup dresses that she tried were not to her taste.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe one I chose was perfect,\u201d Devin explained, \u201cbecause it was a combination of a hanbok dress and it was white, so it was also like a traditional American wedding dress.\u201d<\/p>\nDisaster! \u201cA pair of wooden geese in Korean tradition represents lifelong mates and eternal devotion to each other,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also drank out of the same copper cup in the wedding,\u201d Devin shared. \u201cThis is called \u2018Hapgeunrye,\u2019 and symbolizes Nick and I becoming one entity.\u201d<\/p>\nDevin\u2019s parents greeted her and Nick at the airport. \u201cNick was a little scared of heights at first, but then it was amazing for him to see Little Rock up in the air,\u201d Devin described.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only ever dreamed about having everyone together celebrating with us,\u201d she concluded. \u201cIt was beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
