The end of the year will once again bring a late holiday season treat when Bravo\u2019s Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> and CNN\u2019s Anderson Cooper<\/strong><\/a> join forces to manically host a countdown to 2024.<\/p>\n

The IRL friends have hosted CNN\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve Live<\/em> special together for the past seven years and have certainly brought joy to the small screen \u2014 and a touch of controversy.<\/p>\n

The 2023 broadcast was a sober affair after Cohen, 55, went on a drunken rant<\/a> one year prior about former New York City mayor Bill De Blasio<\/strong>. Cooper, 56, tried to rein Cohen in at the time, but the network subsequently banned<\/a> the dynamic duo from drinking on the air.<\/p>\n

With another live special on the horizon, Cohen is hopeful that he and Cooper will be celebrating the new year with libations in hand. \u201cPeople want to see me make Anderson giggle, and hey love to see him do shots,\u201d Cohen said on<\/a> the December 13 episode of The Howard Stern Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Regardless of how tipsy they\u2019ll be, the pair are excited to bring their antics back. \u201cThere\u2019s no one I\u2019d rather spend New Year\u2019s Eve with and nowhere I\u2019d rather be at midnight than New York\u2019s Times Square!\u201d Cooper teased in a press release.<\/p>\n
