A lap around Target<\/a> with an iced coffee in hand is one of my all-time favorite ways to spend a weekend morning. Sure, I got there under the guise of replenishing the laundry detergent, but I\u2019m really there to sniff candles, squeeze throw pillows, and find an organizing hack I didn\u2019t know I needed. That\u2019s how I\u2019ve come to find some of my favorite brands and products in the store, like the Spritz customizable banner<\/a> I trot out for every holiday. Suffice it to say, if there\u2019s a new Target line hitting shelves, you better believe I\u2019m on the case.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Figmint is Target\u2019s first owned kitchen line<\/a>, which means it was developed by Target\u2019s product design team and is exclusive to their stores and websites. The line includes more than 250 kitchen products that cover pretty much everything a home cook needs \u2014 a response, Target says, to their customers\u2019 fatigue with prep work and cleanup. In turn, their product team focused on creating a modern line of items that solves common kitchen problems (like an over-the-sink colander<\/a>), fits with any kitchen (hello, chic salt and pepper cellar<\/a>), and is affordable to boot, with most products priced between $3 and $10.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Figmint is a Target brand, exclusive to their stores and site. Target actually has more than 45 different private-label brands across all categories you\u2019ve likely already seen throughout the stores. For example, Boots and Barkley<\/a> is a line of pet accessories and clothing, Everspring<\/a> is household essentials like detergents and candles, Hearth & Hand<\/a> is designed in partnership with Chip and Joanna Gaines, and Market Pantry<\/a> includes basic food items like eggs, milk, and bread. Figmint is the first Target-owned brand dedicated solely to kitchen products<\/a>, which filled a niche previously covered by a variety of other owned brands.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n A better question might be, what doesn\u2019t<\/em> Figmint sell? Because the line has over 250 kitchen items, there\u2019s one of just about everything.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The Figmint cookware collection<\/a> spans all the major categories: stainless steel, nonstick, and cast iron. There are enameled cast iron dutch ovens, skillets, and braisers that come in go-with-everything cream, a sage green, and more; sets of ceramic-coated aluminum nonstick cookware; and stainless steel pots and skillets with glowing reviews. In terms of bakeware, there are a range of stoneware baking dishes<\/a> for baked pastas and casseroles alike; nonstick muffin tins, sheet pans, and cake pans; and ruffled pie dishes, ramekins, loaf pans, roasters, silicone mats, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n All manner of kitchen tools and gadgets<\/a> are covered as well, and of course, in a range of materials. The collection includes utensils (like spatulas, spoons, and tongs) made from silicone that won\u2019t scratch, acacia wood that\u2019ll last basically forever, and easy-to-clean stainless steel. Cutting boards<\/a> also come in a variety of materials like end-grain acacia wood, recycled plastic, bamboo, and paper fiber. There\u2019s also an impressively sharp mandoline with a safety guard, kitchen towels and potholders<\/a>, a bench scraper, salad spinner, pastry brushes, and even a mortar and pestle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Home cooks and bakers always have leftovers to save for the week and give away to family and friends, and luckily, Target can now be a one-stop-shop for a host of food storage options<\/a>. There are plenty of clear plastic containers with airtight lids (or glass containers if that\u2019s more your speed), magnetic bag clips, colorful lidded bowls, and stoneware oil bottles and salt cellars.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n No kitchen is complete without a few quality small appliances<\/a>, and the Figmint line delivers on this as well. They\u2019re straightforward in design, and include a 12-cup coffee maker, a 2- and 4-slice toaster, an electric kettle, and a baker\u2019s digital scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n After testing a host of Figmint products ourselves and poring through other shopper reviews, we\u2019re happy to report that the line is certainly worth it. The items in this line are very competitively priced compared to more high-end options, and they look darn good, too.<\/p>\n For any cookware, kitchen tools, or gadgets you need in a pinch, you can easily find it in the Figmint section at your local Target<\/a>. Because they\u2019re so affordably priced, they\u2019d also be great to send along with a college student or to quickly stock a new apartment.
