Sharing her secrets. Amy Slaton<\/strong><\/a> has opened up about how she manages her wellness journey<\/a> on a daily basis.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t have a favorite [workout] routine. As far as eating habits go, I eat small meals with high protein and [have] low carbs,\u201d the\u00a01000-Lb<\/i>. <\/span>Sisters\u00a0<\/i>personality, 35, exclusively told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0<\/i>on Thursday, February 16.<\/p>\n 1000-Lb<\/i>. <\/span>Sisters <\/i>debuted on TLC in January 2020, chronicling siblings Amy and Tammy Slaton<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s dependent relationship amid their respective weight loss struggles.<\/a> When the docuseries began, Amy was very eager to drop pounds to be able to have children.<\/p>\n The reality TV star and husband Michael Halterman<\/strong>, who wed in March 2019<\/a>, have since welcomed two sons: Gage, 2, and Glenn, 6 months.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cLooking at Gage, I just see his whole future basically, as he\u2019s going off to college,\u201d Amy gushed in a\u00a01000-Lb<\/i>. <\/span>Sisters<\/i>\u00a0confessional from season 2, documenting her eldest son\u2019s November 2020 birth<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s emotional. You can\u2019t really talk about [it] because you just love him so much you don\u2019t have words to explain how much you love him.\u201d<\/p>\n She added at the time: \u201cHolding Gage for the first time felt surreal. My heart just melted. He was so perfect. His little fingers, his toes. I made this little ball of joy!\u201d<\/p>\n While the YouTube personality and\u00a0Michael, 39, love doting on their little ones<\/a>, they are not looking to further expand their brood.<\/p>\n \u201cI do not want more kids, my family is complete!\u201d Amy told\u00a0Us\u00a0<\/i>on Thursday, before revealing how she balances motherhood with self-care. \u201cAs a busy mom, I just take care of them, when they sleep that\u2019s when I get a bath or do other things for myself.\u201d<\/p>\n The Kentucky native\u2019s extended family, however, grew in November 2022<\/a> after Tammy, 36, married Caleb Willingham<\/strong>. (The newlyweds first met at an Ohio rehab center.)<\/p>\n \u201cCaleb and Mike haven\u2019t had much time together but I\u2019m sure they will get along great<\/a>,\u201d Amy told\u00a0Us.<\/i>\u00a0\u201cI love just having quiet family time and watching movies together.\u201d<\/p>\n While Caleb, 39, and\u00a0Michael\u00a0have not had many chances to bond yet, Tammy called her groom a \u201ctrue partner\u201d amid her own weight loss journey.<\/p>\n \u201cWe support each other wholeheartedly.\u00a0On our weight loss journeys, when he\u2019s having issues with wanting to eat because he\u2019s bored or because he\u2019s an emotional eater, he comes to me and we talk about the situation,\u201d Tammy told\u00a0Us\u00a0<\/i>earlier this month<\/a>, noting Caleb has been supportive after she underwent gastric bypass surgery.<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s the same for me and I talk to him. We talk about our issues and why we feel this way. We are true partners.\u201d<\/p>\n
