The \u2018Call Me by Your Name\u2019 actor, 37, made the declaration as part of a series of Instagram updates he has been giving fans since he relaunched his profile nearly three years after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n
Armie, who returned to the platform last month, shared a long quote on Tuesday (12.12.23) by nun Pema Ch\u00f6dr\u00f6n discussing the idea of \u201cletting go of everything\u201d in an apparent nod to the fallout from his controversy, which ended up derailing his Hollywood career.<\/p>\n
The passage opens with the lines: \u201cOnly to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annihilation can that which is indestructible be found in us.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the spirit of true awakening. It was all about letting go of everything. Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe quote adds \u201cthings don\u2019t really get solved\u201d and instead \u201ccome together and they fall apart\u201d in a cycle.<\/p>\n
\nIt goes on: \u201cThe healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe quote added \u201croom for not knowing\u201d is \u201cthe most important thing of all\u201d, and says: \u201cWe never know if we\u2019re going to fall flat or sit up tall. When there\u2019s a big disappointment, we don\u2019t know if that\u2019s the end of the story. It may just be the beginning of a great adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLos Angeles police launched an investigation into rape claims made by a woman named Effie against Armie, but they announced in May the actor would not face charges.<\/p>\n
\nArmie has vehemently denied the allegations and his other online updates since the scandal include one in November, which saw him post a clip of his laptop playing a movie while he took a train ride.<\/p>\n
\nA few days later, he uploaded a selfie with friends on a beach, captioning it: <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWhen the LA welcome committee demands you do a cold water plunge in the ocean right when you get off the plane\u2026 .\u201d<\/p>\n
\nArmie\u2019s dental hygienist girlfriend Lisa Perejma has not appeared in the few images he has shared.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor recently checked himself into rehab to treat his substance abuse issues with support from fellow star Robert Downey Jr, 58.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
