Use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/grandmas-perfect-pie-crust\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">this recipe<\/a>, it\u2019s my grandma\u2019s, and it is perfect!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blind Baking the Crust:<\/strong>\u00a0Whether you choose to use a <a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/grandmas-perfect-pie-crust\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">homemade crust<\/a> or a store-bought crust, this recipe uses the technique of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/how-to-blind-bake-a-pie-crust\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">blind baking<\/a>\u201d, which simply means partially baking the pie crust before adding the filling. This ensures the crust doesn\u2019t get soggy, but instead stays buttery and flaky, even on the bottom.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Variations:<\/strong>\u00a0Although, not traditional, feel free to add up to 1\/2 cup of any fresh veggies you desire! It will keep fresh for 2-3 days.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>In the Freezer:<\/strong>\u00a0Wrap the cooled quiche in plastic wrap and foil. Label it with the date and it will stay good in your freezer for 3-4 months.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To Reheat:<\/strong>\u00a0Let the frozen quiche thaw in the fridge overnight.
