For his role, David<\/strong> won four Emmys.<\/p>\n David<\/strong> has now spoken on why he wasn\u2019t involved in the reboot, which saw Kelsey Grammer<\/strong><\/a> return to the role of the titular psychiatrist.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not like I said, \u2018Oh, I don\u2019t ever want to do that again.\u2019 I loved every moment. It was that I wanted to do other things,\u201d he told the Los Angeles Times<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd when we got into real talks about the reboot, I had just started on the Julia<\/em> TV show and was working on a musical and going to do another musical, not this one. And I just thought, \u2018I don\u2019t want to be committed to a show and not be able to do stuff like this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to his busy schedule, David<\/strong> felt that it wasn\u2019t necessary to continue his time on Frasier<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI also thought, \u2018They don\u2019t actually need me.\u2019 Frasier<\/em> has moved on to a new world. They have new characters. And I think I\u2019m right. It\u2019s doing great.
