Following the first season\u2019s success, Life & Style can exclusively confirm that the latest Bachelor Nation show is coming back for season 2.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThe Golden Bachelor<\/em> will be returning with a new bachelor,\u201d a source exclusively tells Life & Style.<\/p>\n The insider adds that the spinoff has put the Bachelor franchise \u201cback on the map.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Theresa Nist<\/strong>, the winner of season 1, reportedly told her hairstylist details of a potential upcoming season.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was talk about maybe having another bachelor with the same [group of] women,\u201d the hairstylist, Lisa, told The U.S. Sun<\/em><\/a> on December 7.<\/p>\n She went on to say that, according to Theresa, this is because the women who starred in The Golden Bachelor<\/em> season 1 had developed \u201csuch great fan bases\u201d that producers were considering giving the ladies another shot at love.<\/p>\n Lisa added, \u201cI don\u2019t know if that\u2019s going to happen or anything, but that\u2019s how popular they all became.\u201d<\/p>\n Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor<\/em> was announced<\/a> in May 2023. \u201cAfter more than 20 years of fostering young love on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette<\/em> and Bachelor in Paradise,<\/em> The Golden Bachelor<\/em> showcases a whole new kind of love story \u2014 one for the golden years,\u201d ABC announced in a press release.<\/p>\n Gerry made history as the first Golden Bachelor, while 22 women were cast<\/a> to be contestants as they competed for his heart.<\/p>\n While the upcoming season has been confirmed, the network has not announced who the leading man will be or the ladies that will be vying for his heart.<\/p>\n Fans have loved watching an older demographic find love on TV, and viewers have expressed interest in watching the roles be reversed on The Golden Bachelorette<\/em>.<\/p>\n Not only are fans begging for a female-centered spinoff, but host Jesse Palmer<\/strong> also fully supports the idea.
