Princess Eugenie<\/a> \u201ctends to scream into a pillow\u201d when the demands of being a working parent gets too \u201chard\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Princess Eugenie has two sons<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old royal wants to set a good example to her and husband Jack Brooksbank\u2019s sons August, two, and Ernest, six months, thanks to her work with her charity the Anti-Slavery Collective \u2013 which she set up in 2017 with best friend Julia de Boinville \u2013 but she admitted it isn\u2019t easy juggling the needs of her boys with the foundation and her job as a gallery director.<\/p>\n
She told Britain\u2019s HELLO! magazine: \u201cAs for how I juggle it all with family life, it is quite hard.<\/p>\n
\u201cI tend to scream into a pillow sometimes.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy older son, who\u2019s just started talking, does often ask when I\u2019m out of the room on a call or in the office \u2018Where\u2019s mummy?\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I want them to be able to change the world as they grow up so hopefully I\u2019m setting a good example in that sense.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEugenie is also keen not to spend too much time on her phone when she\u2019s with her sons in order to give them her full attention.<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: \u201cWhen I\u2019m with the boys, I try to leave my phone alone as much as I can.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAs with anyone in life, when you\u2019re juggling work or charity or play, something always takes a hit.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s about being realistic and setting boundaries for yourself.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cJack and I, on weeknights, are very much at home with the children, otherwise you\u2019re constantly running on a hamster wheel.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd the princess is thankful she can always rely on Julia for support.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cJules is my co-founder and this is our passion project so we do have full-time jobs to juggle as well.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf one of us is really busy with work, the other will step up and we have a great team.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
