Adele suffers \u2018really bad seasonal depression\u2019<\/p>\n

The \u2018Rolling in the Deep\u2019 singer, 35, who recently shed around seven stone as part of a lifestyle overhaul, has the condition SAD, which sparks depression while the weather is bleak. <\/p>\n

She said in a rare interview with The Hollywood Reporter: \u201cI get really bad seasonal depression, so the weather (in America) is good for me. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is strange sometimes, because I\u2019m very British. Because it\u2019s a bit harder for me to go out nowadays, what I love the most about LA is everyone goes to each other\u2019s houses. I like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adele<\/a> was also asked if she has considered acting, and replied: \u201cThere is one movie I want to do, but the guy whose movie it would be, he\u2019s not mentally ready to write the script for it\u2026 I\u2019m not giving you no clues, though. I bug him every now and then about it, but he\u2019s just not there yet. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cBut that\u2019s the only role I ever want, because I think I\u2019d nail it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nAdele also revealed she would rather work in showbiz out of the spotlight. <\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cMy dream job is to be a script reader. People think it’s hilarious and they don’t take me seriously. I say to my manager, \u2018I want to be really successful at something.\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018What?\u2019 <\/p>\n

\n\u201cI was like, \u2018But (music) is my hobby. I just fell into it. I want to be in TV and behind the scenes.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

\nAnd Adele admitted her gigs \u2013 which have included her run in Las Vegas over the last year \u2013 made her fear she would ruin her vocal cords. <\/p>\n

\nShe added: \u201cI get nervous about wearing my voice out. (The show is) a lot of singing. It\u2019s two hours. It\u2019s all live. And I chat as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
