Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> and Hayley Erbert<\/strong> captivated audiences with their chemistry well before they started dating.<\/p>\n The former Dancing With the Stars<\/em> pro<\/a> first connected with Erbert after she was cast as one of the dancers in his and sister Julianne Hough<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Move Live Tour<\/em> in 2014. By July 2015, they were a couple.<\/p>\n Derek played coy about his plans to propose to the So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/a> alum for years, but his feelings were clear as he gushed <\/a>about his girlfriend constantly.<\/p>\n The couple performed together as part of Derek\u2019s fall 2021 residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas, and\u00a0Derek joked about getting married<\/a> at one of the city\u2019s famous little white wedding chapels during one of their first shows.<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly all jokes aside, we\u2019re just playing up here,\u201d he explained after dropping to one knee in front of Erbert \u2014 to tie his shoe. \u201cBut it really is really special to be able to do something that you love on the stage with somebody that you love so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
