\nThe \u2018Succession\u2019 and \u2018Ferris Bueller\u2019s Day Off\u2019 actor, 67, was caught on camera in footage obtained by TMZ ploughing his truck into the side of the pizzeria and hitting two cars. <\/p>\n
\nA lawsuit obtained by Page Six showed Horacio Vela claims he was \u201cpatiently waiting\u201d at a red light at around 9pm when the actor\u2019s car \u2013 which he said was \u201cdirectly behind\u201d him \u2013 \u201cunexpectedly\u201d rammed into the back of his Hyundai Elantra. <\/p>\n
\nDespite the light allegedly still being red, Horacio claims Alan \u201cabruptly and forcefully accelerated his vehicle,\u201d pushing his car into oncoming traffic where \u201cit collided with another vehicle\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe added Alan\u2019s car then continued at \u201ca high rate of speed,\u201d hitting yet another vehicle before crashing into the side of Raffallo\u2019s Pizza shop on Hollywood Boulevard. <\/p>\n
\nHoracio claims he had to be taken to the hospital after the crash and sustained \u201csevere injuries and damages\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe also alleges his car was totalled and he was left with \u201cproperty damage, costs of past and future medical care, pain and suffering, mental anguish, emotional distress, and other consequential damages\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHis attorney claims Alan\u2019s insurance \u201chas refused to accept responsibility for the crash\u201d and \u201cghosted\u201d them \u201cdespite repeated calls and letters seeking to work out an amicable settlement\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nLawyer Neama Rahmani said: \u201cRuck says he doesn\u2019t know what happened, and police say it was a vehicle issue while Rivian, the manufacturer, says the truck was working properly. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIn this case, multiple people were hit, and a business was damaged. We believe Ruck is responsible for the damages.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAt the time of the crash, a 25-year-old man and 40-year-old female who were involved in the accident reported pain but no serious injuries were recorded. <\/p>\n
\nLos Angeles Police confirmed Alan was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the crash happened.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
