Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a> claimed that former Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> costar Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t \u201cjust some hot girl\u201d to him during their affair.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fought so hard for Rachel,\u201d Sandoval, 40, said during the Thursday, December 7, episode of \u201cTwo T\u2019s in a Pod<\/a>\u201d podcast, calling Leviss, 29, by her birth name. \u201cI stopped drinking. I stopped smoking cigarettes because she went away to a facility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in March that Ariana Madix<\/strong> and Sandoval split after nine years<\/a> together following news that Sandoval had cheated with costar Leviss. As the affair continued to make headlines<\/a>, Leviss checked into a mental health facility<\/a> in April, which Sandoval said on Thursday was something he tried to help her through.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRaquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval sparked a romance in summer 2022 while he was still dating Ariana Madix \u2014 and the fallout has been messy to say the least. Vanderpump Rules fans learned Sandoval had a connection with Madix during season 2 of the Bravo hit when his then-girlfriend, Kristen Doute, alleged he cheated with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018She can\u2019t drink, she can\u2019t smoke. I\u2019m gonna quit,\u2019\u201d he said on the podcast. \u201cI haven\u2019t gone this long without drinking since I was 16. It\u2019s been eight months. I stopped for her. I was there in any way that she needed me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval confessed that \u201cof course\u201d he still misses Leviss after their romance fizzled out earlier this year. \u201cWe were best friends. It\u2019s heartbreaking to go through,\u201d he said. \u201cI was fully in love with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Tom Tom cofounder quipped: \u201cShe\u2019s not just some hot girl<\/a>. I was a model for 15 years, it\u2019s deeper than that. It\u2019s more than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval noted that he \u201cwould have loved to go away to a mental health facility\u201d like Leviss did and reboot, but he claimed he had prior work engagements he had to handle.<\/p>\n

Looking back, Sandoval said he \u201cdoesn\u2019t know\u201d whether Leviss loved him or just wanted fame. He said, \u201cI hope she did [love me],\u201d confessing he felt hurt that she \u201cjust shooed me away\u201d after the scandal broke.<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> previously reported in September that Leviss and Sandoval had \u201cnot spoken\u201d in months<\/a>. Despite all the trauma he\u2019s experienced since the affair, Sandoval alleged on Thursday that his and Leviss\u2019 hookup was \u201cdefinitely not\u201d for the \u201cthrill\u201d of it. \u201cYou get caught up.
