Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong><\/a> has no plans to say goodbye to Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> after his season 32 win with Xochitl Gomez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would [return next season]. Listen, if they had me back, I\u2019d love to be back. It\u2019s going to be a tough season to follow,\u201d Chmerkovskiy, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, December 6, shortly after he and Gomez, 37, were the first pair to win<\/a> the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.<\/p>\n

Tuesday marked the third time Chmerkovskiy brought home the trophy<\/a> since joining DWTS<\/em> in 2006. Chmerkovskiy and Gomez\u2019s final performances included the foxtrot and freestyle dances to \u201cUnconditionally\u201d by Katy Perry<\/strong> and \u201cQue Calor\u201d by District 78, respectively. Their scores were 30 out of 30 for both.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels great. This one feels a little different. It\u2019s been seven years since I was able to be lucky enough to win and to win it with this young lady,\u201d he gushed. \u201cMan, she carried us all season. She made me look great as a teacher [and] as a partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Each season, a celebrity is partnered with a professional dancer as they tackle a new style of ballroom dance. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman have served [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Gomez noted that she was just as grateful for Chmerkovskiy, adding, \u201cThat goes both ways. You can\u2019t really know how to really do any of this unless you have someone who really understands you. So you really understood me and you did all the dances that had my personality in it. And I think that\u2019s what\u2019s important.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Chmerkovskiy, the win has meant even more since he became a father<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing. I can\u2019t wait to give this to my son,\u201d the professional dancer, whose wife Jenna Johnson<\/strong> gave birth to son Rome in January, shared with Us<\/em>. \u201cHe is going to want to eat this for sure. That is the first thing he wants to have.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMirrorball champs or not,\u00a0Dancing With the Stars\u00a0has featured some impeccable professional dancers in the years since the ABC competition series premiered in 2005. Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are among the talent who have lit up the ballroom. Some of the show\u2019s stars went on to achieve major success in their careers while [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Chmerkovskiy was paired off with Gomez this season, Johnson, 29, competed with Tyson Beckford<\/strong><\/a>. Before DWTS<\/em> kicked off in September, the couple discussed their plans for competing against each other<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe support each other, but we kind of vent to one another as well. So, it could be challenging,\u201d Chmerkovskiy shared with Us<\/em> that month. \u201cIt\u2019s like you are living the stress of two couples because, obviously, we could have a great night and I\u2019ll be very happy, but if she and [Tyson] have a bad night, it\u2019s going to be a tough position to be celebrating in.\u201d<\/p>\n
