The rapper, 41, is said in court documents to have assaulted minder Carlos Christian \u2013 who is accusing the star of assault and inflicting emotional distress during an incident at his home in Hidden Hills, California, in 2021. <\/p>\n
Papers obtained by The Blast say the singer \u201ccommitted battery against (the bodyguard) in that while holding a gun, punched him on his ear with his fist\u201d. <\/p>\n
They also claim Wayne \u201cengaged in outrageous conduct, specifically, erratically threatening, assaulting, and battering (him) while holding a semiautomatic rifle\u201d. <\/p>\n
And they show Carlos claims he opened a bathroom door following an altercation with the singer to find him allegedly wielding a rifle. <\/p>\n
\nTMZ has reported Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, got into a row with the bodyguard after accusing him of leaking a photo to the media. <\/p>\n
\nCarlos claims he immediately left the premises and called the police \u2013 but Wayne has denied the allegations via a spokesperson, stressing he did not own a gun at the time of the alleged assault. <\/p>\n
\nWayne\u2019s former minder says he has suffered post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the alleged incident and was forced to seek \u201cmental health treatment\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nHe adds he was \u201charmed, including without limitation sustaining a physical and emotional injury\u201d and incurred medical bills as well as lost wages and had his \u201cearning capacity reduced\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nCarlos refers to Wayne as a \u201cconvicted felon with a history of criminal firearm offenses\u201d in the papers. <\/p>\n
\nIn 2009, the musician was caught with a .40-caliber Springfield Armory semi-automatic rifle in his tour bus, and he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced to one year behind bars. <\/p>\n
\nHe pleaded guilty 10 years later to federal gun charges in Florida after authorities found a gold-plated gun on his private jet \u2013 but former US President Donald Trump, 77, infamously commuted the rapper\u2019s sentence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
