The next chapter of Fortnite<\/em><\/a> will introduce a new island \u2014 but it\u2019s also adding a Lego-themed game experience. Following The Big Bang event, which marked the conclusion of Fortnite <\/em>OG<\/a> <\/em>(and also starred Eminem<\/a>), developer Epic Games revealed a new in-game experience called Lego Fortnite<\/em>. It\u2019s described as \u201ca new survival crafting game\u201d that will be available within Fortnite<\/em> starting on December 7th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lego Fortnite<\/em> is the first announcement out of a previously revealed partnership between the two companies. In April of last year<\/a>, Epic and Lego announced that they would be working together to \u201cbuild a space in the metaverse that\u2019s fun, entertaining, and made for kids and families.\u201d A few days later, Epic announced a $2 billion funding round<\/a> that was split between Sony and Kirkbi, an investment group operated by the Kirk\u00a0Kristiansen family, which founded the Lego Group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
