\u201cIt\u2019s a phase. It\u2019s a phase that\u2019s lasted a little too long for me, but it\u2019s a phase, and I\u2019ve seen so many different phases. Hopefully people will be sick of it soon. The good ones \u2014 like \u2018Iron Man,\u2019 \u2018Black Panther,\u2019 \u2018The Matrix\u2019 \u2014 I marvel at those movies, and I\u2019m swept up in the entertainment of it, but that\u2019s not why I became an actor. And those movies don\u2019t change my life. Hopefully there\u2019ll be room for everything else.<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n

One recent movie that has changed her life is \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once,\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Daniels. They made my favorite movie perhaps of all time, \u2018Everything Everywhere All at Once,’ That\u2019s the film that I will return to over and over again whenever I feel depressed or sad. I first saw it with one of my sons, and we held hands and pinched each other and cried for 45 minutes afterward,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd then I saw it with my other son a week later, and it just opened a portal of connection and understanding and hope. He started telling me everything from his high school that he\u2019d never told me, and we were walking in the rain crying and opening up. And I was like, \u2018This is what film can do.’<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
