The twosome called it quits in August 2017.<\/p>\n The two-time Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> semifinalist \u2014 who competed on both Andi Dorfman<\/strong><\/a> and Kaitlyn Bristowe<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s seasons \u2014 was first linked to Joy in 2019. The couple, however, didn\u2019t officially start dating until summer 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n Viall\u2019s connection with the surgical technician was very apparent to his inner circle, who predicted in November 2021 that someday they\u2019d get engaged.<\/p>\n \u201cThey could be the next Bachelor Nation couple to get engaged,\u201d an insider exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> at the time, noting that friends of the Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> alum \u201ccannot wait for [an engagement] to happen because they know how long he\u2019s been waiting to find The One.\u201d<\/p>\n Three days after announcing their engagement via social media<\/a> in January, Viall gushed over his bride-to-be.<\/p>\n \u201cMany of us have hoped our path to love should to be clean, pure, and without disappointment. The pilot proposed to Sluss on the show\u2019s March 2020 finale, but later called off the engagement after admitting he still had feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett<\/strong><\/a>. Weber later broke it off with Prewett and is now dating Kelley Flanagan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
