Celebrities, influencers and \u201cregular\u201d people alike are all about touching up their posts, and that includes the Kardashian-Jenner family<\/a>! In fact, the reality TV bunch rarely shares unedited and filter-free pictures online \u2026 not by choice, anyway.<\/p>\n Take Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, for example. In April 2021, the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians<\/em><\/a> star found herself in a bit of hot water after one of her unedited bikini photos went viral<\/a>. The picture, which began to circulate on Easter Sunday that year, featured a makeup-free Khlo\u00e9 smiling and wearing a cheetah print string bikini.<\/p>\n Amid the controversy,\u00a0it was revealed that the photo was posted by mistake. \u201cThe color edited photo was taken of Khlo\u00e9 during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,\u201d\u00a0Tracy Romulus<\/b><\/a>, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, told Page Six<\/em><\/a> in a statement. \u201cKhlo\u00e9 looks beautiful, but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Khlo\u00e9 \u201chated\u201d the photo and \u201cdemanded her team take it down<\/a>,\u201d a source told Life & Style<\/em> at the time, noting it was something \u201cshe would have posted without some serious altering.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Less than a week later, the mother of two, who shares daughter True<\/a> and a son whose name has yet to be revealed with ex Tristan Thompson<\/strong><\/a>, broke her silence on the scandal<\/a>. Khlo\u00e9 shared a lengthy message along with several clips of herself in the gym via Instagram. Khlo\u00e9 also did an Instagram Live of her workout.<\/p>\n \u201cHey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered,\u201d the E!<\/em> alum began. \u201cThe photo that was posted this week is beautiful, but as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn\u2019t flattering in bad lighting or doesn\u2019t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point \u2014 and then shares it to the world \u2014 you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared \u2014 regardless of who you are.\u201d<\/p>\n
