Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> is adding yet another thing to her growing resume.<\/p>\n

The Kardashians<\/em><\/a> star, 43, is set to produce and star in the upcoming female-driven comedy film The 5th Wheel<\/em>, Netflix confirmed.<\/p>\n

\u201cKim Kardashian is about to be The Fifth Wheel<\/em>,\u201d Netflix wrote in an announcement via X<\/a>, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, November 26, adding that Kardashian will co-produce and star alongside producer and writer Paula Pell<\/strong> and writer Janine Brito<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/em><\/a> was the first to reveal the news earlier this month. The outlet reported that the Skims founder has had a hands-on role in pitching the comedy and has appeared at every meeting.<\/p>\n

This is not Kardashian\u2019s first stint acting. The reality star recently appeared in season 12 of American Horror Story<\/em><\/a>, which aired in September. The latest season, titled Delicate<\/em>, also stars Emma Roberts<\/strong>, Matt Czuchry<\/strong> and Cara Delevingne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In her debut, Kardashian delivered a surprisingly NSFW line<\/a> while portraying publicist Siobhan Walsh. \u201cThen tell the Daniels to suck my c\u2014t. She\u2019s not missing a press day for a f\u2014king commercial shoot,\u201d she said, before speaking directly to Roberts\u2019 character, Anna. \u201cIt is exhausting being better than everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of her appearance, a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> about Kardashian\u2019s experience on set. \u201cThis project has been months and months in the works, and Kim was ecstatic to finally start filming last month,\u201d the insider said in June. \u201cThis is an experience of a lifetime, and Kim can\u2019t wait for everyone to see the final product.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kardashian also revealed she was taking acting classes<\/a> to prepare for her role on the series. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s a challenge [but] I like to challenge myself,\u201d Kardashian shared at the 2023 Met Gala<\/p>\n

Prior to her role in American Horror Story<\/em>, Kardashian made brief cameos in Disaster Movie<\/em>, Last Man Standing<\/em>, Drop Dead Diva<\/em> and voiced a part in two PAW Patrol<\/em> movies. She also took on hosting duties<\/a> on Saturday Night Live<\/em> in October 2021.<\/p>\n
