The 41-year-old royal is also described as \u201ccold\u201d in an upcoming book titled \u2018Endgame\u2019 by Omid Scobie, 41, who has been dubbed \u2018Meghan\u2019s cheerleader\u2019. <\/p>\n

Leaked sections of the tome, due out Tuesday (28.11.23) say there has been \u201calmost zero direct communication, bar a few short pleasantries\u201d between the princess and duchess since 2019. <\/p>\n

A source is quoted in the book saying: \u201c(Catherine) was close to Harry, and she will always look back fondly on those moments\u2026 and the relationship he had with their children\u2026 but to her there is no way she could ever trust them after all their interviews.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider was referring to chats including the bombshell sit-down the duchess and her husband Prince Harry<\/a>, 39, gave to Oprah Winfrey after they relocated from Britain to the US and their interviews in their \u2018Harry and Meghan\u2019 Netflix series. <\/p>\n

\nOmid also says in his book there is \u201cno going back\u201d for her and Duchess Meghan. <\/p>\n

\nIn one chapter, he says Catherine has had elocution lessons in a bid to become more like the late Queen Elizabeth. <\/p>\n

\nHe says: \u201cKate has learned what is paramount for survival in the system: vanishing into your role, giving away nothing, and allowing yourself to embody what the public sees in you. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cAnd with those elocution lessons, the Princess of Wales even sounds a bit like her former boss: polished, regal, and appropriately distant.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nOmid adds Catherine did nothing to support Duchess Meghan when she joined the royal family. <\/p>\n

\nAmong the stories about what sparked the pair\u2019s alleged rift is one that said the duchess made Catherine cry over the choice of her daughter Princess Charlotte\u2019s bridesmaid dress for Harry and Meghan\u2019s 2018 wedding. <\/p>\n

\nReports in the UK said Meghan made Catherine cry, but Meghan then told Oprah Winfrey it was the other way around. <\/p>\n

\n\u2018Endgame\u2019 is the follow up to Omid\u2019s \u2018Finding Freedom\u2019 book about Harry and Meghan\u2019s so-called \u201cMegxit\u201d from the royal family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
