Paul Rudd<\/strong><\/a> is sharing how he got in shape to play Ant-Man.<\/p>\n The 54-year-old actor has played the superhero, also known as Scott Lang, in five Marvel Cinematic Universe titles, including 2023\u2032s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania<\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to learn more about Paul\u2019s diet\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During a recent appearance on the Off Menu<\/a><\/em> podcast, Paul<\/strong> revealed some details about the restrictive diet he had to follow while preparing to play Ant-Man.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was having to train for the Ant-Man<\/em> movie, and I was on a very restrictive diet, my reward was sparkling water,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s how horrible that diet was. I was like, \u2018Alright, I\u2019m gonna have some sparkling water now, I\u2019ve earned it.\u2019 Yeah, it was great. It wasn\u2019t flavored, I wasn\u2019t gonna go crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul<\/strong> also clarified that he stuck to the same diet for all of his MCU films.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce you\u2019re in it, it\u2019s actually not too hard,\u201d he stated, adding that it didn\u2019t bother him to eat \u201creally boring food, every time, over and over again,\u201d given that he\u2019d awake with \u201ctons of energy\u201d as a result.<\/p>\n When asked if his Avengers: Infinity War<\/em> and Endgame<\/em> co-stars would compare their diets and training, Paul<\/strong> detailed his experience with his fellow actors.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I think people kind of are,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I also think I worked out harder than anyone, I would eat better than everyone, and I looked worse than all of them. I had to work out all the time, eat perfectly, just to look kind of bad. Not even like great.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cI remember on Endgame<\/em>, Chris Hemsworth<\/strong><\/a> would always have these Tupperware containers and he\u2019s eating this gruel of just a mash of stuff. He\u2019s working out, and then you stand next to a guy like that, and I just think, \u2018Well, what\u2019s the point of any of this?\u2019 Why am I killing myself when that can exist, and then I look at myself and this exists. I can never achieve that. \u2026 That was the good thing that it was Ant-Man, it isn\u2019t Thor.
