The former \u2018Suits\u2019 actress, 42, and her husband Prince Harry<\/a>, 39, caused a storm in 2021 during their sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in which they alleged one member of the Royal Family \u2013 who they refused to name \u2013 enquired about \u201chow dark\u201d their boy\u2019s \u201cskin might be when he\u2019s born\u201d. <\/p>\n

Writer Omid Scobie, 42, who has been dubbed \u2018Meghan\u2019s cheerleader\u2019, has now reportedly included in his upcoming book \u2018Endgame\u2019 a claim that the Duchess wrote private letters to King Charles in which she named two members of the royal household she claims took part in \u201cconversations\u201d about Archie\u2019s skin tone. <\/p>\n

The Sun has also reported the identity of the alleged pair has not been disclosed in the tome, which is due out on Tuesday (28.11.23), but which has been leaked to the newspaper. <\/p>\n

It added Omid claims in the book he knows the names of the two people \u2013 but says: \u201cLaws in the United Kingdom prevent me from reporting who they were.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe Sun added it is not known if the second accused person is a member of the Royal Family or someone who works for \u2018The Firm\u2019, but stated they are a member of the Royal Household. <\/p>\n

\nBoth names are said to appear in letters shared between the Duchess and the then-Prince Charles in the spring of 2021, in the wake of her and Harry\u2019s chat with Oprah. <\/p>\n

\nThe Duchess told the chat show icon comments about Archie\u2019s skin colour were made during \u201cseveral conversations\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nShe refused to name any names, saying: \u201cI think that would be very damaging to them.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nWhile promoting his memoir \u2018Spare\u2019, which came out in January, Harry denied the couple had made any accusations of \u201cracism\u201d against the Royal Family \u2013 instead saying it had been a case of \u201cunconscious bias\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
