The 43-year-old comic \u2013 who was booked by cops in January 2022 in Georgia after cops received a call that a driver was dozing off on the road \u2013 was collared early on Friday (24.11.23) morning in Beverly Hills, California, hours after performing at a comedy show on Thanksgiving, and is said to have been handcuffed by officers.<\/p>\n
A watch commander for the Beverly Hills Police Department told Page Six: \u201cWe responded to a call of a vehicle on the roadway at 5.45 this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also noted officers were told the driver was \u201casleep behind the wheel\u201d. <\/p>\n
Page Six added sources said Tiffany\u2019s car was \u201cstopped in lanes of traffic\u201d and not pulled over to the side, meaning any vehicles that were driving in the area at that time would have had to go around her car. <\/p>\n
\nIt is unclear who placed the call to police and whether it was one of the other drivers on the road. <\/p>\n
\nThe watch commander stressed there were \u201cno traffic collisions\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nTiffany\u2019s condition at the time of her arrest is unclear, but a BHPD spokesperson said: \u201cThe investigation led us to arrest her for a DUI.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe watch commander added: \u201cShe\u2019s being booked at our Beverly Hills police jail.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nPolice said Tiffany was due to be released on Friday afternoon. <\/p>\n
\nAccording to a video obtained by TMZ, Tiffany appeared cooperative when police put her in handcuffs and walked her to the back of their vehicle. <\/p>\n
\nShe was seen wearing a floral red and white blouse, black leggings and black sneakers. <\/p>\n
\nTiffany was scheduled to perform at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Thursday (23.11.23) for its 43rd consecutive annual free Thanksgiving feast alongside Tim Allen, Paul Rodriguez, Alonzo Bodden, Kira Soltanovich and Tom Dreesen. <\/p>\n
\nWhen she was lifted by police in 2022, police said Tiffany\u2019s vehicle was pulled into the yard of a local residence. <\/p>\n
\nTMZ said officers believed the stand-up comic had been under the influence of marijuana \u2013 and Tiffany later joked about the ordeal during an appearance on \u2018The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u2019. <\/p>\n
\nShe said a few weeks after the incident: \u201cI can say this, Jimmy \u2013 I\u2019ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man\u2026 and God went ahead and sent me four\u2026 in uniform.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
