Olive Garden, Red Lobster? I could go there right now and fuck my stomach up and just absolutely house those cheddar biscuits. Lil’ shrimp linguine, some chicken alfredo.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tweets about another of his fast food favorites, Chipotle, inspired the chain to temporarily change the name of its Kansas City location to \u201cChipolte\u201d in homage to Travis\u2019 oft-repeated typo when discussing his burning passion for burritos. He also noted that he’ll be spending Thanksgiving alone, and joked about eating KFC on the day, adding another stop to his grand drive-thru tour.<\/p>\n
He said he’d been aware that old tweets might come back to haunt him someday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been trying to get all those tweets deleted since I got to the league,\u201d Travis lamented, noting that \u201cI was just using Twitter as like a diary. I\u2019m just out here saying nonsense. I just gave a squirrel a piece of bread? And spelled squirrel like a jackass?\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s referring, of course, to referring to a furry friend \u201csmashing\u201d bread as a \u201csquirle.\u201d It is, to use Travis\u2019 own preferred parlance, simply electric.<\/p>\n
Jason, however, was supportive of Travis\u2019 past wildlife bonding adventures.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the only reason it\u2019s getting crushed is because the spelling,\u201d Jason said. \u201cOutside of that, If I\u2019m throwing bread out here and a squirrel\u2019s eating it, I\u2019d be pretty pumped up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI made a friend, man,\u201d Travis recalled. \u201cI made a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for the tweet where he joyfully and declared \u201cNAPTIIIIIIIIIIIME!\u201d, Travis ruefully said, \u201cThis is why I don\u2019t tweet anymore, because it\u2019s just nonsense.\u201d However? \u201cLil lunchtime nap? All I need is a good 15,\u201d he said, noting the tweet\u2019s 12:05 p.m. timestamp.<\/p>\n
Though Travis said the commentary was \u201ctorching me. I was getting lit up left and right,\u201d Jason found the Thanksgiving spirit and had gratitude for the headlines.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt surely made for an enjoyable week in rehashing some old tweets,\u201d he said, with the blissful calm of a man whose college-era social media was not top-of-mind this week.<\/p>\n
