Saying goodbye to some of Zach Shallcross<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 30 women!\u00a0The Bachelor<\/em><\/a> star has sent home some fan-favorite contestants during his journey to find love on the ABC reality show\u2019s 27th season.<\/p>\n Keep reading to see which contestants got eliminated during The Bachelor<\/i> week 2 and come back for updates!<\/strong><\/p>\n After competing for Rachel Recchia<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s heart and being sent home following his hometown date, Zach was named the new Bachelor.<\/p>\n \u201cIt might not be the most dramatic season<\/a>, but it\u2019s the most emotional season that they\u2019ve ever had,\u201d the California native told People<\/em><\/a>\u00a0ahead of his season\u2019s January premiere. \u201cBut that\u2019s not to say that this season will not have some drama. There\u2019s no shortage of drama.\u201d<\/p>\n When reflecting on his time on\u00a0The Bachelorette<\/em><\/a>, Zach recalled his \u201cbiggest takeaway\u201d from his time as a constant and attempted to instill that into his own group of women.<\/p>\n \u201cSomething that I tried to maintain throughout this season is really encouraging all the women<\/a> to be open with how they\u2019re feeling with everything,\u201d he explained. \u201cHaving that constant line of communication, always being open and vulnerable through it all so that there aren\u2019t any chances of a blindside.\u201d<\/p>\n Following his time on Rachel\u2019s season \u2014 which she shared with Gabby Windey<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 Zach was vocal about feeling a \u201clack of communication\u201d between himself and the pilot.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a lot of question marks and a lot of guessing. And when it came down to last season with Rachel, a lot of stuff came to fruition and a lot of big question marks and surprises and that leads to shock,\u201d he told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in January.\u00a0\u201cFor me, one thing that I pride myself on is the fact of having communication throughout [my time as the Bachelor]. So, I even told all the women on night one, like, good or bad, please tell me how you\u2019re feeling.
