As a suburban commuter who has to drive and take two trains to get into the office in New York, I\u2019m used to The Schlep. Founders Aaron and Julie Menitoff appeared on the show in 2022 and got a much-needed investment from the sharks, plus major air time \u2014 both of which caught Oprah\u2019s attention and earned Boarderie a spot on her coveted Favorite Things List in 2022 and in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n The company\u2019s highly decorative cheese and charcuterie boards can be ordered online with overnight shipping nationwide. Because the boards are made and assembled to order, you set a specific delivery date so everything arrives as fresh as possible. I put in an order for the Oprah\u2019s Favorite Things Bundle<\/a> on a Thursday for a Tuesday delivery, and it arrived right on time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The Oprah\u2019s Favorite Things Bundle is one of Boarderie\u2019s newest launches<\/a> this year, and includes two Boarderie items that made it onto Oprah\u2019s Favorite Things list in 2022 and 2023: the Arte Cheese & Charcuterie Board<\/a> and the 2-Cheese Double Cream Baked Brie Board<\/a>. This was the perfect combo to try a bit of everything, although I\u2019d say there was more than just a bit of everything.<\/p>\n The bundle includes 37 (!) cheeses, meats, dried fruits, nuts, chocolates, and spreads that are all ready to eat; four pre-made baked Brie pastries that need to go in the oven; and three standard-size boxes of crackers. And that\u2019s just what you can eat \u2014 the rest of the huge package that arrived at the office included an acacia wood serving board as well as bamboo serving tongs and skewers. Thank goodness I had the extra help from editors and colleagues across The Kitchn, Apartment Therapy, and<\/em> Cubby to eat this masterpiece.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Kitchn\u2019s Groceries Editor, Mara Weinraub, <\/a>loved that the boards were overflowing. \u201cI would park myself in front of this spread for the night if I spotted it at a party,\u201d she says. \u201cThis is an entire potluck on a (serving) platter. I especially liked the Merlot Pecorino, chorizo, and hand-cut Turkish figs \u2014 they don\u2019t appear on many other cheese boards I\u2019ve tried or made, so they were a delicious and welcome surprise.\u00a0The baked Brie (which I actually forgot to take a photo of before it was cut into!) was pure delight \u2014 the pastry was flaky, the cheese was gooey, and the flavors were sublime.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Given the 50+ items featured in this bundle, it\u2019s no surprise that it\u2019s one of Boarderie\u2019s more expensive items \u2014 $289, to be exact. But there are lots of other boards with more palatable prices, so you have options for any party or potluck you\u2019re headed to.
