Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s inner circle<\/a> haven\u2019t been afraid to let their opinions on the pair\u2019s romance be known.<\/p>\n

\u201cFriends close to Taylor and Travis think they make an amazing power couple, and they couldn\u2019t be happier for them,\u201d a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in October 2023, one month after the two were first romantically linked.<\/p>\n

After Swift attended several of Kelce\u2019s Kansas City Chiefs NFL games<\/a> in September, the couple seemingly made things official by stepping out for back-to-back New York City date nights<\/a> after making cameos<\/a> on Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> the following month.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re really happy. They\u2019re not saying they\u2019re in love yet. But it\u2019s obvious to her friends that they\u2019re heading in that direction,\u201d a second insider told Us<\/em><\/a> in October, adding that their friends \u201cthink they\u2019re in love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift and Travis Kelce are all anyone can talk about. Swift and Kelce were first linked in July 2023 when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared he attempted to ask Swift out after attending her Eras Tour. \u201cI was a little butthurt I didn\u2019t get to hand her one of the bracelets I [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kelce, for his part, publicly gushed about the Grammy winner in a November 2023 WSJ. Magazine<\/em><\/a> profile. \u201cBeing around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f\u2014ing mind-blowing,\u201d he told the outlet<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m learning every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not long after Swift and Travis\u2019 romance first made headlines, his older brother, Jason, praised him for \u201cgoing above and beyond to be a gentleman\u201d to the singer. \u201cI think he can probably handle both of those gears when necessary,\u201d he said<\/a> during a September 2023 radio interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Jason has also vocalized concern for Travis\u2019 safety<\/a> amid his high-profile romance. \u201cThere\u2019s some alarms, sometimes, with how over-in-pursuit people can be,\u201d he told NBC Sports in October 2023. \u201cOverall, he can deal with some of this. As long as it\u2019s not becoming a threat to his safety and things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Travis\u2019 father recalled noticing something \u201cvery special\u201d<\/a> in Swift upon meeting her at a Chief game. \u201cWe\u2019re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around,\u201d he told People<\/em><\/a> in October 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd I\u2019m just thinking, I don\u2019t think she got the diva memo. She didn\u2019t get the spoiled musician. She doesn\u2019t know how to pull that off. And that really, to me, said a whole lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that month, Ed told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> that he\u2019s \u201cwithout a doubt\u201d ready to save a seat<\/a> for the \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d singer at the 2024 Super Bowl, despite her busy Eras Tour<\/em> schedule.<\/p>\n
