A salty start? Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong><\/a> and Carl Radke<\/strong>\u2019s romance<\/a> caused tension during the season 7 Summer House<\/em><\/a> premiere \u2014 and Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t on board with the drama.<\/p>\n \u201cI just fell in love with my best friend,\u201d Lindsay, 36, confessed during the Monday, February 13, premiere<\/a>, confirming that she and Carl, 38, had moved in together two weeks prior to filming in summer 2022. \u201cI am living that rom-com movie, like, in real life.\u201d<\/p>\n While the Hubb House PR founder \u2014 who started the episode seducing her then-boyfriend wearing a sexy nurse costume \u2014 was happy with her love life, it was clear that her housemates weren\u2019t as thrilled<\/a>. (Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that Lindsay and Carl are engaged<\/a>.)<\/p>\n Ahead of Lindsay and Carl\u2019s arrival in the Hamptons, Mya Allen<\/strong><\/a> and Kyle, 40, both revealed that they were somewhat at odds with the lovebirds.<\/p>\n \u201cWe haven\u2019t spoken since February,\u201d Mya, 30, told pals Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a> and Paige DeSorbo<\/strong><\/a> and newbie Gabby Prescod<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cLindsay is mad at me and she doesn\u2019t want me to have a relationship with Carl. She said that I wanted Carl in a sexual way.\u201d<\/p>\n The cookie maker later told the cameras that she was confronted by Lindsay in February 2022 after the group filmed an episode of Family Feud<\/em> in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n \u201cI was in the car with Lindsay going back to the hotel, I was like, I just texted Carl, \u2018LOL, maybe we\u2019ll smoke a j.\u2019 I smoked many a joints with Carl. It was so innocent,\u201d Mya recalled. \u201cThat\u2019s when she told me that I was not respectful of their relationship. She also accused me of wanting Carl in a romantic way<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Amanda, 31, noted that she hadn\u2019t \u201ctalked to Lindsay or Carl either<\/a>\u201d amid tension between her husband and his longtime BFF Carl. Kyle and Carl work together at Loverboy<\/a>, which has only added to the stress between the pair.<\/p>\n \u201cI love Kyle to death, but we work together. We spend a lot of time with each other,\u201d Carl told the cameras after joking that he wished there were more guys in the house than Kyle to talk with all summer. \u201cAnd to be honest, lately, it\u2019s been a little rocky. Still trying to figure out, is Loverboy for me. It would be nice to mix it up a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n The strain between the men became even more clear when Carl chose to go to bed early with Lindsay<\/a> instead of staying up with Kyle all night.<\/p>\n \u201cI take the mood and the vibe of the house very seriously. I want them to immediately fit in. I just don\u2019t know what to expect,\u201d Kyle said during a confessional.<\/p>\n The Maryland native<\/a> showed his frustration at Carl being standoffish while standing alone in the kitchen. \u201cIf this is the new normal, I\u2019m going to jump out of my window,\u201d Kyle drunkenly said. \u201cI\u2019m so f\u2014king bored right now.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the bromance between Kyle and Carl isn\u2019t the only drama that will plague the housemates this season<\/a>. In the final few moments of the episode, Bravo teased what\u2019s to come during season 7, including a massive blowout between Danielle Olivera<\/strong> and Lindsay<\/a> that divides the group.<\/p>\n Paige, 30, and Craig Conover<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s future will seemingly be tested as their romance progresses<\/a> and fans will see how Carl proposed to Lindsay<\/a>.
