The Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> contestants proudly showed off which Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> era they identified with during the Tuesday, November 21, episode.<\/p>\n The show kicked off with the pros performing a fairy-tale-inspired dance to \u201cLove Story (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u201d choreographed by Mandy Moore<\/strong> \u2014 who also worked with Swift, 33, to choreograph her Eras Tour<\/em>. Prior to the contestants stepping on the ballroom floor, Swift herself shared some words of encouragement<\/a> for the contestants.<\/p>\n \u201cHey guys it\u2019s Taylor. I just want to say thank you so much for having this me-themed night on Dancing With the Stars<\/em>,\u201d the pop star relayed in a video message. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see what your amazing choreographers and my friend Mandy Moore have in store. I so wish I could be there.\u201d<\/p>\n Alyson Hannigan<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 who declared herself the competition\u2019s biggest Swiftie \u2014 could not contain her excitement to dance in the special episode.<\/p>\n \u201cI heard there\u2019s going to be a Taylor Swift night. I was like, oh, that\u2019s my dream. I have to make that. And here we are,\u201d the actress, 49, said in a confessional while repping her Eras Tour<\/em><\/a> concert T-shirt. \u201cMy kids and I all love her music. That night when we got to see her in concert was so special for all three of us. That\u2019s the one artist we can play and not be like, oh, change this song.\u201d<\/p>\n While Hannigan didn\u2019t execute her \u201cYou Belong With Me\u201d themed cha cha perfectly, the judges saw how much she channeled Swift\u2019s Fearless<\/em> era.<\/p>\n \u201cOh my darling, you were obviously inspired by Taylor,\u201d judge Bruno Tonioli<\/strong><\/a> told Hannigan. \u201cWatching your promo for the romantic comedy when Alyson met Sasha in the cha-cha. And that was right. You were so into it. You were racing through it, my darling.\u201d<\/p>\n Jason Mraz<\/strong><\/a>, who landed in the bottom three<\/a> the week before, entered his Reputation<\/em> era as he tackled the Argentine tango to \u201cDon\u2019t Blame Me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBringing that whole arena is what we need to do with this Argentine tango,\u201d the singer, 46, said to partner Daniella Karagach<\/strong>. \u201cThis is our redemption dance. We need to make the greatest comeback in Dancing With the Stars<\/em> history.\u201d<\/p>\n Which Mraz ultimately delivered as he received his first perfect score of the season.<\/p>\n \u201cThat had everything. It had all the moves,\u201d Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> gushed before the pair\u2019s scores were revealed. \u201cThe confidence that you had on that very first moment when you spun her around, I was in the whole time. My man Jason Mraz is back!\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to their first round of dances, the contestants also performed in a dance relay for extra points on their total score. Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> and Xochitl Gomez<\/strong> faced off with a Viennese waltz to \u201cLover\u201d while Hannigan and Harry Jowsey<\/strong> danced a jive to \u201cShake It Off\u201d and Mraz and Charity Lawson<\/strong><\/a> performed a cha-cha to \u201cLavender Haze.\u201d Gomez, 17, Hannigan, and Mraz won their respective dances and added three points to their total score.<\/p>\n At the end of the evening, Jowsey, 26, and Rylee Arnold<\/strong> had the lowest score and were eliminated<\/a>, just missing out on making it to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
