Magazine about Travis\u2019 joy at being with Taylor: \u201cI can tell you this.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s happier than I\u2019ve seen him in a long time\u2026 God bless him. He shot for the stars!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During a sit-down interview on the \u2018Today\u2019 show in October, Donna seemingly came off unenthusiastic about Taylor.<\/p>\n<p>\nOnce it aired, Travis called his mum to assure her she did a good job after she said spending time with Taylor was \u201cok\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nDuring her interview with co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb last month, Donna said she could not \u201ctell\u201d if the pair were a \u201cbudding romance\u201d because it is \u201cjust too new\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe added: \u201cI don\u2019t like to talk about it. It\u2019s just one of those things where everyone saw me.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI was in the boxes with her. It\u2019s another thing that\u2019s amped up my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nTravis has said that even though Taylor would \u201chate (him) for saying this,\u201d he described having \u201csomebody playing Cupid\u201d and convincing the pop star to reach out to him.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe added: \u201cThere were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cShe told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cEverybody knows I\u2019m a family guy.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cHer team is her family.
