Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> hasn\u2019t been too happy about Christine<\/strong><\/a> and Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s unbreakable bond, hinting that the twosome weren\u2019t always so close.<\/p>\n

Christine, 51, and Janelle, 54, reunited for a hike during the Sunday, November 19, episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>. \u201cA couple years ago, I left Kody. Janelle\u2019s separated from Kody right now. But we are sister wives,\u201d Christine told the cameras. \u201cWe\u2019re just going to keep on being sister wives and really good friends for the rest of our lives and keep raising our kids together and just represent the plural part of our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kody, 54, had his own ideas about their friendship. \u201cIt\u2019s interesting that Christine and Janelle have a newfound relationship \u2019cause I think it was more antagonistic before,\u201d he claimed in a confessional before referencing his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown<\/strong>. \u201cI wish it wasn\u2019t so, but it seems to me that they are united in the common enemy against me and Robyn. Because they\u2019ve got nothing good to say about us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kody has been vocal about his ups and downs<\/a> with Christine and Janelle throughout season 18 of Sister Wives<\/em>. In a September episode, he accused them of \u201ctrying to shut [him] out\u201d<\/a> while the plural family was at odds about their holiday plans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSister Wives\u2019 Christine Brown and Janelle Brown formed a strong friendship before \u2014 and after \u2014 their respective splits from Kody Brown. Kody was legally married to Meri Brown from 1990 to 2014, when he opted to divorce her in order to lawfully wed Robyn Brown, who initially joined the family in 2010. Kody\u2019s spiritual [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re talking to each other about it, but they\u2019re not talking to me about it,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cAnd now they\u2019re all mad at me. \u2026 Christine and Janelle are doing everything they can to not make it so I\u2019m not the head of the family, which is fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine was the first of Kody\u2019s four wives to leave him, announcing their split in November 2021. She moved back to Utah with their youngest daughter, Truely, 13, and later found love with husband David Woolley<\/strong>. (Christine and Kody also share son Paedon, 25, and daughters Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Gwendlyn, 21, and Ysabel, 20.)<\/p>\n

One year after Christine\u2019s divorce, Janelle confirmed<\/a> in December 2022 that she and Kody had been \u201cseparated for months.\u201d This season, fans watched the pair get into a screaming match<\/a> as their relationship crumbled. Through it all, Christine has remained in Janelle\u2019s corner.<\/p>\n

Kody\u2019s family \u2014 which includes 18 total children\u2014 was thrust into the spotlight in September 2010 when Sister Wives premiered. At the time, Kody was courting his fourth wife, Robyn, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Both Christine and Janelle agreed in an October episode that Kody \u201cslipped into\u201d monogamy<\/a> with fourth wife Robyn. (He and Meri Brown<\/strong> confirmed their split earlier this year.)<\/p>\n
