Taylor Swift<\/strong> <\/a>has postponed her second Eras Tour <\/i><\/a>concert in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium,\u201d Swift, 33, wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, November 18, hours before the concert was scheduled to begin. \u201cThe decision has been made to postpone tonight\u2019s show due to extreme temperatures in Rio.\u201d<\/p>\n

She concluded: \u201cThe safety and well-being of my fans, fellow performances and crew has to and always will come first.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift did not immediately announce a new concert date. She has another Rio show already scheduled<\/a> for Sunday, November 19.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift launched her first concert tour in more than four years in March\u2014 and positively slayed with her fashion choices. The \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d songstress, 33, kicked off her tour on Friday, March 17, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona \u2014 where February\u2019s Super Bowl LVII was held. The\u00a0Eras Tour, which celebrated all of Swift\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Grammy winner performed at Brazil\u2019s Est\u00e1dio Ol\u00edmpico Nilton Santos on Friday, November 17, amid a record-breaking heatwave. During the show, many attendees got overheated and started a chant for water.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s people that need water,\u201d Swift told security guards in social media footage from the show, pausing her performance of \u201cChampagne Problems\u201d when she noticed a homemade sign with the request. \u201cWhoever is in charge of giving them that, make sure that happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift was later seen tossing one concertgoer a bottle of water in the middle of her performance of \u201cAll Too Well (10 Minute Version).\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show, a 23-year-old fan died, presumably due to the weather conditions. Swift released a statement on Friday<\/a>, noting that she was \u201coverwhelmed by grief\u201d and \u201cdevastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

The stars of Swift\u2019s \u201cBejeweled\u201d music video \u2014 Este Haim, Danielle Haim, Alana Haim and Laura Dern \u2014 were among thousands of fans in attendance at the tour\u2019s opening night in Glendale, Arizona\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Swift kicked off the South American leg of her Eras Tour <\/i>earlier this month in Argentina. She had to cancel her second night<\/a> after a rainstorm caused the stadium to flood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got down there hoping I was going to see Taylor\u2019s second show<\/a>, but it got rained out \u2013 really it got thunder and lightning\u2019d out,\u201d Travis Kelce<\/strong>, who is currently dating Swift, said during the Wednesday, November 15, episode of his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast. \u201cShe wasn\u2019t too happy about it<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce, 34, added: \u201cShe kind of prides herself on performing through weather and rain and things like that. But when it\u2019s unsafe to her, her crew and everybody in the stadium, you have to do what you have to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
