This week, Dean McDermott acknowledged the pain<\/a> that he inflicted over the years.<\/p>\n

While breaking his silence \u2014 his first public statement since he announced the end of his marriage to Tori Spelling in June, Dean spoke about how substance abuse took over his life. And how it ravaged his marriage.<\/p>\n

He had a lot to say about marriage \u2014 from the \u201cfairytale\u201d beginning to how he felt like \u201croommates\u201d after Tori let more pets sleep in the primary bedroom.<\/p>\n

And Dean also admitted that his alcoholic rages at terrified <\/em>Tori and their children \u2014 children whom he has not seen since spring.<\/p>\n
