Tristan Thompson<\/strong> <\/a>is finally ready to take responsibility for the role he played in his relationship with Jordyn Woods<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a new episode of The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, which started streaming on Thursday, November 16, Tristan, 32, told Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> he had major regrets about his past infidelity. More specifically, the athlete had time to reflect on how his makeout with Jordyn, 26, affected not just Khlo\u00e9, 39, but her family as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone told me, do you think Kylie [Jenner]<\/strong><\/a> misses Jordyn? I\u2019d probably say yes. And I feel bad about that. Especially me being the older one,\u201d he said. \u201cI should have handled it differently. I should have handled it more as the older person. As the wiser [person].\u201d<\/p>\n

Tristan admitted that it took time for him to realize his mistakes<\/a>, adding, \u201cSometimes for men they don\u2019t realize until they are 40 or 50 when the train is already gone. Hopefully, my train hasn\u2019t left.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTristan Thompson\u2018s dating life has made headlines over the years, and not only because of his high-profile relationship with Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian. The athlete dated Jordan Craig from 2014 until 2016. Following their split, Craig discovered she was expecting a child. The exes welcomed son Prince in December 2016. The NBA player started dating Khlo\u00e9 in 2016<\/a>, and they announced one year later that they were expanding their family. Days before their daughter True\u2019s arrival in 2018, Tristan cheated on his then-pregnant girlfriend<\/a> with multiple women.<\/p>\n

After initially staying together<\/a>, Khlo\u00e9 and Tristan called it quits in February 2019 when he kissed Kylie\u2019s former best friend Jordyn. (Jordyn was 21 and Tristan was 28 at the time.)<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in August 2020 that Khlo\u00e9 and Tristan were giving their romance another chance<\/a>. Less than one year later, they split again. The pair briefly reconciled in late 2021 before ending it for good.<\/p>\n

News broke in December 2021 that the athlete was being sued by Maralee Nichols<\/strong><\/a> for child support. One month later, Tristan acknowledged that he is the father to the fitness model\u2019s son, Theo<\/a>, after requesting genetic testing. It was later revealed that Khlo\u00e9 and Tristan\u2019s surrogate was pregnant at the same time, giving birth to their son, Tatum, in summer 2022.<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of Tristan\u2019s hookup with Jordyn, Kylie, 26, parted ways with her then-best friend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former friends reunited on multiple occasions earlier this summer. Before Jordyn and Kylie publicly crossed paths, Tristan sat down with Khlo\u00e9\u2019s youngest sister<\/a> to finally address the drama.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKeeping up with the drama. Tristan Thompson\u2019s life in the limelight has been filled with controversy \u2014 from cheating scandals and paternity claims to high-profile breakups. The Sacramento Kings player joined the NBA in 2011, but it wasn\u2019t until he started seeing Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian in August 2016 that his personal life became so public. Thompson\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt really bothers me because we had such a dope relationship. But everyone got affected differently. You were affected the most by the situation,\u201d he told Kylie in Thursday\u2019s episode. \u201cYou lost Jordyn who was a big part of your life. I know how much she meant to your life and your connection. You were two peas in a pod so the fact that I put myself into the situation wasn\u2019t right and wasn\u2019t smart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tristan continued: \u201cI want to say I am sorry. I feel bad about it. \u2026 The fact that I came with my poor decisions and being a f\u2014king idiot who was young and stupid, I wanted to say I am sorry again for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kylie, who accepted the apology, said the situation changed her for the better.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI think I was so codependent with Jordyn that I could never imagine my life without her. We would have probably still been living together. She needed to grow without me and I needed to grow without her,\u201d she added. \u201cJordyn and I are cool. We still talk and catch up. We are good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tristan subsequently asked Kylie to \u201crelay\u201d his apology to Jordyn as well before hitting the next stop on his apology tour. His trip to Kourtney Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s house started off a little awkward when Tristan ran into 11-year-old daughter, Penelope. (Kourtney, 44, revealed in an episode from earlier this month that her dislike for Tristan rubbed off on her daughter.)<\/p>\n

After sitting down with Kourtney, Tristan attempted to explain what led to him<\/a> being unfaithful<\/p>\n

\u201cI was cheating for an action or for a feeling. But it also came down to not really knowing how to love. That\u2019s the way I grew up,\u201d he noted. \u201cWith therapy, I realized my childhood upbringing, I saw how my dad would treat my mom. As a kid when you see that, the trauma where you can\u2019t protect your mom because you\u2019re so young, you numb your emotions. It\u2019s my defense mechanism.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tristan went on to share how therapy has allowed him<\/a> to address his mistakes. \u201cI never understood how to feel pain or emotions because the most important person in my life \u2014 even if she was treated terribly \u2014 was always happy,\u201d he continued. \u201cI have never seen a man treat a woman good. I have never seen a man not cheat on a woman. I have never seen a good husband.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Kourtney made it clear that she was still upset with Tristan for hurting Khlo\u00e9.<\/p>\n
