Actor Jacob Elordi<\/a><\/strong> is featured on the cover of December\u2019s Men of The Year issue of GQ<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n In the interview, the 26-year-old Aussie actor says that his Kissing Booth<\/strong><\/em> films on Netflix were \u201cridiculous movies\u201d and made him feel \u201cdead inside.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t want to make those movies before I made those movies,\u201d he said of the wildly popular franchise. \u201cThose movies are ridiculous. They\u2019re not universal. They\u2019re an escape.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor insists on high stands and is shocked when people bristle at it.<\/p>\n \u201cHow is caring about your output pretentious?\u201d Elordi asked. \u201cBut not caring, and knowingly feeding people shit, knowing that you\u2019re making money off of people\u2019s time, which is literally the most valuable thing that they have. How is that the cool thing?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWell, they asked me to read for Superman,<\/em><\/strong>\u201d Elordi told GQ<\/em>. \u201cThat was immediately, \u2018No, thank you.\u2019 That\u2019s too much. That\u2019s too dark for me.\u201d<\/p>\n When it comes to roles that Elordi does want to play, fans can look to his unsettling role in Emerald Fennell<\/strong>\u2019s upcoming thriller Saltburn<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Elordi has said that his character Felix Cotton is \u201cin many ways\u201d even \u201cscarier\u201d than his infamous portrayal of toxic high school boyfriend Nate Jacobs in HBO\u2019s Euphoria<\/em> \u2013 and that\u2019s saying something.<\/p>\n The film, which Emerald Fennell has revealed will be canonically queer, tells the story of Oliver (Barry Keoghan<\/strong>), who is struggling to make friends as a vulnerable new student at Oxford University.<\/p>\n Eventually, Oliver connects with fellow student Felix, the deceptively charming, egotistical son and heir of the aristocratic Catton family and the epitome of the British upper class.<\/p>\n As the pair\u2019s friendship blooms, Oliver grows increasingly attached to Felix and his family\u2019s high-flying lifestyle.
