Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> <\/a>gave fans a sneak peek at his upcoming Christmas song with Meghan Trainor<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fallon, 49, opened up about the track he wrote with Trainor, 29 on a Monday, November 13, episode<\/a> of The Tonight Show<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI got some big news today. If you know me, you know that I love the holidays,\u201d he told the crowd while gushing about Trainor. \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to do something with Meghan Trainor. She\u2019s an amazing performer and songwriter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fallon explained that he originally had the idea of \u201cwrapping gifts\u201d for the song. He sang to his audience and joked, \u201cI didn\u2019t hear back from Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few weeks later, Trainor got back to him about his lyrics. She told him she changed the title and words to \u201cWrap Me Up,\u201d instead of his idea \u201cWrap it Up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJimmy Fallon has had a long career as a comedian and talk show host \u2014 but not without controversy. Fallon began his career on Saturday Night Live from 1998 to 2004 before landing his own talk show titled Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2009. The series lasted until 2013 when it was announced that [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cLet me tell you something. She can sing. This song is a bop. This song is a banger. This song eats. This song slaps,\u201d Fallon praised.<\/p>\n

He then played a snippet of the track for the audience, which included Trainor singing, \u201cWrap me up in your arms and squeeze me. Wrap me up, it\u2019s like Christmas magic.\u201d Before cutting off the song, Fallon gave a glimpse of his voice<\/a> singing, \u201cI\u2019ll go get the ribbons.\u201d<\/p>\n

The track\u2019s cover photo featured cartoon versions of the two with Fallon wrapped up in paper and Trainor holding the roll.<\/p>\n

\u201cWrap Me Up\u201d drops on Friday, November 17.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first holiday song Fallon has released. In December 2021, he dropped a tune and music video named \u201cIt Was A \u2026 (Masked Christmas)\u201d featuring Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> and Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In March 2023, he surprised fans \u2014 and judges Niall Horan<\/strong><\/a>, Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a>, Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/a> and Chance the Rapper<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 with a blind audition on The Voice<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
