Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a> defended Brittany Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> from backlash from Swifties after Brittany and her husband, Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>, became the face of Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Skims\u2019 holiday line \u2014 amid Brittany\u2019s newfound friendship with Taylor Swift<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cTaylor Swift fans are freaking out over it and are like crucifying Brittany again and I feel like people just need to back off,\u201d Nick, 43, said in an episode of \u201cThe Viall Files<\/a>\u201d on November 14. \u201cHow do we even know that she did this campaign after her and Taylor became friends?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s too many questions,\u201d the former Bachelor<\/em> star continued. \u201cAlso, do we think Taylor even cares at this point?\u201d<\/p>\n Fellow Bachelor Nation member Well Adams<\/strong><\/a>, who was a guest during the episode, asked Nick for clarification regarding the issues between \u200bTaylor, 33, and Kim, 43. After explaining, Nick added, \u201cI just feel like at this point, one, Taylor might be irritated but again, we don\u2019t even know when Brittany Mahomes shot this. And two, let\u2019s just see if Taylor\u2019s mad first before we start crucifying Brittany Mahomes.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Nick\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Natalie Joy<\/strong><\/a>, chimed in and said, \u201cWell, Taylor would never publicly, like, say anything about that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe \u200bViall Files\u201d host argued that while Taylor might not address Brittany\u2019s participation in the Skims campaign, she could distance herself from the NFL wife and make a statement that way.<\/p>\n Before moving on to a different topic, Nick added, \u201cA friend of mine is good friends with Taylor, and I\u2019ve asked her about, like, Brittany and, like, Taylor really brought people in. So, when they all met, Taylor kind of empathized with Brittany.\u201d<\/p>\n On November 9, Brittany revealed photos<\/a> of herself, Patrick and their two children, Sterling Skye, 2 \u00bd, and Patrick \u201cBronze\u201d Lavon, 11 months, in the \u200bSkims ad and Swifties rushed to the comments to condemn Brittany<\/a> for partnering with Kim Kardashian\u2019s line of shapewear given Kim and Taylor\u2019s history.\u200b<\/p>\n One person wrote, \u201cDo you know what the owner of this brand did to your friend??? Pls stop.\u201d<\/p>\n Another fan chimed in saying, \u201c100% never supporting anything a Kardashian does. And Kim is so desperate to get at Taylor, it\u2019s laughable.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim and Taylor openly feuded over the course of several years for different incidents, most notably in 2016 when Kim\u2019s ex-husband Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> debuted his song, \u201cFamous.\u201d Lyrics in the song mentioned Taylor, who claimed she never gave Kanye permission to say anything about her. Kim, on the other hand, revealed Snapchat messages between Taylor and Kanye<\/a> with Taylor seemingly telling Kanye to \u201cgo with whatever line you think is better.\u201d<\/p>\n Neither Kim, Brittany nor Taylor have addressed the \u200bSkims campaign.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
