Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> has confirmed the longstanding rumor that he has worn the exact same pair of red underwear<\/a> for every game he\u2019s played throughout his 100 plus game NFL career.<\/p>\n The two-time Super Bowl champion<\/a>, 28, made the revelation during a Monday, November 13, appearance on ESPN\u2019s ManningCast<\/em> for Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n \u201cFirst, my wife Brittany got them for me. So, I\u2019m not throwing y\u2019all down, but I have to wear them,\u201d Patrick told hosts Peyton<\/strong> and Eli Manning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the same time, I threw them on that first season, we had a pretty good season that season,\u201d he continued, referring to his 2017 rookie year with the Chiefs.<\/p>\n As for the state of his undies, Patrick explained, \u201cI only wear \u2019em for game day, though,\u201d adding, \u201cthey\u2019re not too worn down\u201d or \u201cnasty.\u201d<\/p>\n The NFL superstar continued, \u201cI clean \u2019em. I wash \u2019em. Every once in a while, at least,\u201d though he shared, \u201cI mean, if we\u2019re on a hot streak, I can\u2019t wash \u2019em, you know? He comes in, he does his work. His notes are written out a certain way. Same pair of underwear, which probably not a lot of people know, on game day.
