A Philly Special Christmas<\/em>, which is a follow-up to the team\u2019s 2022 album that raised over $1 million for local charities, will hit shelves on Friday, December 1, and feature tunes from Jason and fellow offensive lineman Jordan Mailata<\/strong> and Lane Johnson<\/strong>, as well as Patti LaBelle<\/a>, Amos Lee, <\/strong>The Hooters\u2019Eric Bazilian <\/strong>and Rob Hyman,<\/strong>members of The War on Drugs and The Silver Ages Choir.<\/p>\nThe NFL took to X (formerly Twitter)<\/a> on Monday, November 13, to show how the duet came to be, sharing a video of Jason, 36, asking Travis, 34, to \u201chop on\u201d a song for the record.<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s, like, two people fighting, but then they really love each other,\u201d Jason explained to his little brother on the phone in the clip. \u201cIt kind of works really good for our relationship. I think it could be a look at the relationship of two brothers and how much you\u2019re wrapped up in your family\u2019s lives and how much that impacts where you end up in life.\u201d<\/p>\n
While promoting the album during an October appearance on the Today<\/em><\/a> show, Jason quipped it would be \u201cpretty incredible\u201d to have Travis\u2019 girlfriend, Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>, also sing on the album \u2014 but noted that fans will have to wait a little longer for that wish to come true. (Travis and Swift, 33, have been romantically linked<\/a> since she attended one of his Chiefs games in September.)<\/p>\n\u201cMaybe.
