The 2023 Billboard<\/em> Music Awards <\/a>will honor the hottest artists of the year in a new and unique format on Sunday, November 19.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is up for the most awards and is a finalist in 20 categories. The Eras Tour<\/em><\/a> headliner, 33, could break Drake\u2019<\/strong><\/a>s record for the most BBMAs won in one night. The Canadian rapper<\/a>, 37, received 13 awards at the show in 2017.<\/p>\n

Drake is the all-time BBMA awards leader with 34 trophies, and this year, he is a finalist in 14 categories. Swift is the all-time female leader with 29 Billboard<\/em> Music Awards.<\/p>\n

This year, the show is changing its format, airing exclusively on the BBMAs website from multiple locations. Performances, exclusive interviews and acceptance speeches will roll out across Billboard<\/em>\u2019s social channels and artists\u2019 social platforms.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt\u2019s a big deal when an artist gets a No. 1 hit. It\u2019s even bigger when they visit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 multiple times. Since its creation in 1955, the Billboard Hot 100 has tracked all the biggest songs in the United States. In the 60-plus years that followed, hundreds of artists [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Billboard<\/em> has partnered with Spotify to reward the most avid fans with tickets to see their favorite artists perform for the show. Performances and award celebrations will take place in various venues, including at concert tours.<\/p>\n

Winners of the Fans First Program will receive a \u201cgolden ticket,\u201d granting them access to see their favorite artist in an intimate setting.<\/p>\n

Celebrity winners are chosen on the Billboard<\/em> chart rankings, including album and digital song sales, radio airplay, as well as streaming and social engagement.<\/p>\n

This year, there will not be a host. Last year, Diddy<\/a> served as the host and executive producer of the 2022 BBMAs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Which Singers Are Nominated for a 2023 Billboard Music Awards?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following Swift, who is a finalist in 20 categories, Morgan Wallen<\/a><\/strong> and SZA<\/strong><\/a> have the second most entries with 17 categories each. They are followed by The Weeknd<\/strong> <\/a>(16); Drake and Zach Bryan<\/strong><\/a> (14); Luke Combs<\/strong><\/a> (10); 21 Savage<\/strong>, Metro Boomin<\/strong> and Miley Cyrus<\/a> (nine each); Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> <\/strong>and Rema<\/strong> (seven each); Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a> and Peso Pluma<\/strong> <\/a>(six each); and Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a>, David Guetta<\/strong><\/a>, Eslabon Armado<\/strong>, Karol G<\/strong>, NewJeans<\/strong> and Selena Gomez<\/strong> <\/a>(five each).<\/p>\n

In the Top Artists category, Swift is competing against Drake, Combs, 33, Wallen, 30, and SZA, 34. For Top Female Artist, the \u201cBad Blood\u201d singer is up against Beyonc\u00e9, 42, Cyrus, 30, Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong> <\/a>and SZA.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s competition for Top Male Artist includes Combs, Wallen, The Weeknd, 33, and Bryan, 27.<\/p>\n
