Matt LeBlanc<\/a><\/strong> and Courteney Cox<\/a><\/strong> have paid tribute to their late Friends<\/a><\/strong><\/em> co-star Matthew Perry<\/a><\/strong>, sharing their favorite moments with the actor.<\/p>\n On Tuesday (Nov. 14, 2023), more than two weeks after Perry\u2019s death, LeBlanc posted a poignant message to his Instagram page saying goodbye to his friend. Alongside a selection of pictures showing the pair in their roles as Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom, LeBlanc, 56, wrote: \u201cMatthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye.<\/p>\n \u201cThe times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.<\/p>\n \u201cI will always smile when I think of you and I\u2019ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you\u2019re finally free.<\/p>\n \u201cMuch love. And I guess you\u2019re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.\u201d<\/p>\n Cox also shared one of her favorite moments of her late co-star.<\/p>\n The actor, who played Monica Geller, who married Chandler Bing in the show, said she is \u201cso grateful for every moment\u201d she had alongside Perry. She wrote on Instagram beside a clip from the show: \u201cWhen you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here\u2019s one of my favorites.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTo give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night fling in London. But because of the audience\u2019s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIn this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind.\u201d<\/p>\n Other cast members paid tribute after Perry\u2019s death. Maggie Wheeler<\/strong>, who played Chandler\u2019s on-and-off girlfriend Janice Hosenstein, said in an Instagram statement that she felt \u201cblessed\u201d to have spent creative moments with Perry.<\/p>\n The Simpsons<\/em> voice actor Hank Azaria<\/strong>, who played David \u2013 a love interest of Phoebe, played by Kudrow, in several episodes of the show \u2013 said in a video posted to his social media that his \u201cgenius\u201d friend Perry had helped to get him sober.<\/p>\n
