Over the weekend, various news outlets reported that Hudson had taken issue with the sketch, saying in an Instagram comment that the NBC show was \u201con life support\u201d and that Fineman \u201cisn\u2019t funny.\u201d But in an email to Vanity Fair,<\/em> Hudson confirmed that the controversy \u201cisn\u2019t real at all.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n The sketch, featured in the November 11 episode hosted by a very game Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>, opens with Britney Spears, played by Fineman, talking about the process of picking a celebrity to read her audiobook.\u00a0\u201cMy audiobook is read by the amazing Michelle Williams,<\/strong> but she wasn\u2019t the only one who wanted to read it,\u201d says Fineman, imitating Spears.
