Michelle did not deprive them of a normal life or a real education alone. And missing out on meeting peers and making friends was only part of the problem.<\/p>\n
They used the Advanced Training Institute\u2019s teachings. He has likened their academic level to about that of a \u201cmiddle school\u201d student. And obviously, in subjects where what a student would normally learn things that contradict with fundamentalist ideology, they learned even less.<\/p>\n
As a result, the entire family has fewer qualifications for work outside of the cult \u2026 and is more dependent upon the cult for jobs and even social interaction. This includes both Jessa and Joy-Anna, who are homeschooling their children. There is no substitute for the socialization options with a diverse group of classmates, and their children will never have that experience.<\/p>\n
Jill has, in a family first, enrolled her son in public school. During a recent Q&A with her fans and followers, Jinger managed to stir some confusion among those curious about her life.<\/p>\n
She shared that her daughter, Felicity, is currently taking part in somehting called \u201cChristian hybrid\u201d school. Felicity is five years old.<\/p>\nIn this November 2023 Instagram Q&A response from her Instagram Story, Jinger Duggar Vuolo shares that her 5-year-old is enrolled in \u201cChristian hybrid\u201d learning. (Image Credit: Instagram)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThe idea of \u201chybrid\u201d evokes images of science fiction experiments, aliens, even an annoying trope in otherwise enjoyable vampire media.<\/p>\n
But in this case, a \u201cChristian hybrid\u201d learning format means a few days of in-person classroom time and a few days of at-home learning, which might involve physical instructional materials or might be online.<\/p>\n
The in-person education is part of a Christian instructional program. So, in other words, all<\/em> of Felicity\u2019s education has a lens that matches her parents\u2019 religious views. The only thing \u201chybrid\u201d about it is that she\u2019s at home for part of the time.<\/p>\nOn July 4, Jinger Duggar marked the 2023 Independence Day celebration by sharing a video of visiting with family back in Arkansas \u2014 including sister Jill Duggar.
