Jacob Elordi<\/strong><\/a> doesn\u2019t have the best memories from his days as Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth<\/em><\/a> movies.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to make those movies before I made those movies,\u201d Elordi, 26, admitted in his GQ<\/em><\/a> cover profile, published on Monday, November 13. \u201cThose movies are ridiculous. They\u2019re not universal. They\u2019re an escape.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elordi told the outlet that the Netflix trilogy was a \u201cone for them, one for me\u201d film \u2014 an old Hollywood phrase meaning that actors would do one big budget movie for money before doing one smaller project that they loved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat one\u2019s a trap as well. Because it can become 15 for them, none for you,\u201d Elordi said of the old saying. \u201cYou have no original ideas and you\u2019re dead inside. So, it\u2019s a fine dance. My \u2018one for them,\u2019 I\u2019ve done it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t seen it<\/a>. You\u2019ve seen more than I have,\u201d he told Variety<\/em><\/a> in August 2020 about the films. \u201cI don\u2019t know if I\u2019m allowed to say that, but I haven\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, King, 24, hit back in a since-deleted Twitter post.<\/p>\n
