We all knew it was just a matter of time before one of the world\u2019s richest and most controversial men would get the biopic treatment, and now it\u2019s happening. Elon Musk<\/a><\/strong> is getting his own movie, helmed by acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky<\/a><\/strong> and produced by A24, as initially reported by Variety<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The film will be based on Walter Isaacson<\/strong>\u2019s authorized biography<\/a>, which has received unfavorable reviews, with outlets like the Los Angeles Times<\/em> suggesting the author \u201cmostly accepts Musk\u2019s confident prognostications as gospel\u201d and The Guardian<\/em> calling it an \u201cinsight-free doorstop.\u201d Not all reviews were that dire, of course, but many point to Isaacson\u2019s book as a clear example of the perils of access journalism.<\/p>\n Isaacson also wrote a biography on Steve Jobs<\/strong>, adapted into the 2015 film starring Michael Fassbender<\/strong> and directed by Danny Boyle<\/strong>.
